He was born in Japan, moved to New York where he got an education and became passionate about photography and worked on it. He has a minimalist approach to this work, which is what made him pursue still life photography. He blew up and has worked with the best names in Fashion, Cosmetics, and electronics.  I chose his works because I love how he made such a simple object come alive by using water. It peaked my interest and I believed it would challenge me in my works.
